Originally founded in 2003, Experiom is a marketing technology integrator with a history of providing development solutions for brands and agencies. The company is known for embracing a crawl-walk-run implementation model that prevents technical over-engineering.
In the fall of 2018, Experiom merged operations with Dallas-based Tandem Theory with the objective of helping the agency establish a technology practice. While the engagement successfully established a robust capability for Tandem, it gutted Experiom revenues with other agency relationships.
In Q1 of 2020, Tandem and Experiom decided that it made sense to operate as separate entities. The decision was based on the simple realization that the historical strength of the Experiom business model relied heavily on its portfolio of agency relationships. By operating as a part of Tandem Theory, competitive agencies were less willing to leverage Experiom as a technology partner.
Experiom is now refocusing the core business on marketing technology, development services, and technical staff augmentation. Prior to joining forces with Tandem Theory, Experiom had agency relationships with Defakto (acquired by Ansira in 2019), Experiences For Mankind, Get Page One (GPO), imc2, and Moroch. Direct client relationships included engagements with MGM Resorts, Bed Bath & Beyond, Direct Auto & Life, Verizon, Sbarro, and Procter & Gamble.
Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Experiom has resources located in the U.S., Mexico, and India. Experiom embraces a remote work model that provides the best qualified resources at a fair price without regard for geographic restrictions.
